Fun Activities In Elementary Schools

Education is vital for a developing mind. Covering a core set of subjects teaches kids a balance of logical, critical and creative thinking. Their understanding of the world begins in the classroom and continues with them throughout their lives. One of the first opportunities children have to translate this intelligence into practical skills is through extra curricular. Sports

Children who learn creative expression through music at an early age have been shown to have increased academic performances. Their brains develop a large set of neurons that have to do with fine motor skills and sound discrimination. Musically educated children also tend to learn a language quickly because of the similarities of language and music. And they may even see improvements in their math tests.

Drama 

Many elementary schools provide performing arts programs where kids can explore their inner entertainer and find their voice. By giving them a healthy environment to learn the craft, students develop confidence performing on stage in front of an audience. Kids get the chance to make artistic choices, explore creative ideas, team up with others and express themselves through dialogue and stage movement.
